Weekly Update

Good afternoon, Rocket families!

This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility. This week, our quote comes from Daniel Lubetzky who said, “It takes strength to be kind; it’s not a weakness.”

We continue to ask you to drive slowly and cautiously in our parking lots. Our campus is always busy. It is important to stop at all corners, and be sure your speed is less than 10mph.

The end of our third quarter is this Friday, March 17. Remember, you can check your child’s grades at any time on PowerSchool.

Seniors, please be sure to turn in your pictures for the senior slide show presentation by this Friday, March 17!

Don’t forget that this Saturday, March 18, from 4-6pm is the Glow Party for students and families in grades PK-5. This will be held in the elementary gym and promises to be a fun-filled evening with dancing, a photo booth, face painting, glow activities, and snacks! Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased at the door!

There is a prom meeting for all juniors and their parents/guardians on April 5 at 6pm in the jr/sr high school library.

Kindergarten registration will be held through our Expo! This will be on April 4, from 4-7pm. Please call the elementary school to RSVP!

Preschool registration is still available for the 2023-24 school year. Information and applications are available on the website.

Be sure to check our website or download the app to keep up to date with all news, athletics, and events!

Thank you for all you do for our students, our staff, and our community! Make it a great week, and Go, Rockets!
