Weekly Update

Good afternoon, Rocket families!

This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility. This week, our quote comes from Liz Arbruster who said, “To err on the side of kindness is seldom an error.”

Please remember to drive slowly and cautiously in our parking lots. Our campus is always busy. It is important to stop at all corners, and be sure your speed is less than 10mph.

Don’t forget that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, March 6, due to Parent-Teacher Conferences that are scheduled from 11am-7pm.

If you have a student in grades 6-12, stop by the jr/sr high computer lab during conferences from 5:30-6:30pm. I would love the opportunity to share more about the YouScience Discovery inventory students have taken. You will appreciate all of the information this tool can provide as your student plans for their future! As a parent, I have seen the power of this tool!

The end of our third quarter is Friday, March 17. Remember, you can check your child’s grades at any time on PowerSchool.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 18. Students and families in elementary are invited to the Glow Party from 4-6pm. This promises to be a fun-filled evening for all!

Preschool registration is still available for the 2023-24 school year. Information and applications are available on the website.

Kindergarten registration will be held through our Expo! This will be on April 4, from 4-7pm. Please call the elementary school to RSVP!

Be sure to check our website or download the app to keep up to date with all news, athletics, and events!

Thank you for all you do for our students, our staff, and our community! Make it a great week, and Go, Rockets!
